【摘要】:Whenappliedtoaviationgasoline,waterreactionvolumechangeusingthetechniquerevealsthepresenceofwaterx2013;solublecomponentssuchasalcohols.Whenappliedtoaviationturbinefuels,waterreactioninterfaceratingusingthetechniqueisnotreliableinrevealingthepresenceofsurfactantswhichdisarmfilter-separatorsquicklyandallowfreewaterandparticulatestopass;butcanrevealthepresenceofothertypesofcontaminants.Othertests,suchasTestMethodD3948,arecapableofdetectingsurfactantsinaviationfuels.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthepresenceofwater-misciblecomponentsinaviationgasolineandturbinefuels,andtheeffectofthesecomponentsonvolumechangeandonthefuel-waterinterface.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.ThisstandardinvolvestheuseofhazardouschemicalsidentifiedinSection7.Beforeusingthisstandard,refertosuppliers''safetylabels,MaterialSafetyDataSheetsandothertechnicalliterature.
