【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoversagroupofgeneralrequirementsthat,unlessotherwisespecifiedinthepurchaseorderorinanindividualspecification,shallapplytorolledsteelplate,sheet,andstrip,undereachofthefollowingspecificationsissuedbyASTM:SpecificationsA167,A176,A240/A240M,A263,A264,A265,A666,A693,A793,andA895.Inthecaseofconflictbetweenarequirementofaproductspecificationandarequirementofthisspecification,theproductspecificationshallprevail.Inthecaseofconflictbetweenarequirementoftheproductspecificationorarequirementofthisspecificationandamorestringentrequirementofthepurchaseorder,thepurchaseordershallprevail.Thepurchaseorderrequirementsshallnottakeprecedenceifthey,inanyway,violatetherequirementsoftheproductspecificationorthisspecification;forexample,bywaivingatestrequirementorbymakingatestrequirementlessstringent.Thevaluesstatedineitherinch-poundunitsorSIunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Withinthetext,theSIunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththespecification.Thisspecificationandtheapplicablematerialspecificationsareexpressedinbothinch-poundandSIunits.However,unlesstheorderspecifiestheapplicable"M"specificationdesignation(SIunits),thematerialshallbefurnishedininch-poundunits.
