【摘要】:ThisRecommendation|InternationalStandardspecifiesanASN.1type(seeITU-TRec.X.680|ISO/IEC8824-1)whoseabstractvaluesrepresentinstancesoftheW3CXMLInformationSet.Italsospecifiesbinaryencodingsforthosevalues,usingASN.1EncodingControlNotation(seeITU-TRec.X.692|ISO/IEC8825-3).NOTE–Theseencodingsarecalledfastinfosetdocuments.ThisRecommendation|InternationalStandardalsospecifiestechniquesthat:–minimizethesizeoffastinfosetdocuments;–maximizethespeedofcreatingandprocessingfastinfosetdocuments;–allowthespecification(bythegeneratorofafastinfosetdocument)ofadditionalprocessingdata.Thefirsttwotechniquesinvolvetheuseofconceptualvocabularytables.ThesetofvocabularytablesandthenatureoftheirentriesisfullydefinedinthisRecommendation|InternationalStandard,buttheirrepresentationincomputermemoryisoutsidethescopeofthisRecommendation|InternationalStandard.Provisionfortransferorstorageof,oraformalnotationfordisplayingorspecifying,vocabularytablestobeusedasanexternalvocabularyisalsooutsidethescopeofthisRecommendation|InternationalStandard.ThethirdtechniqueinvolvestheprovisionofadditionalprocessingdataandaURIthatidentifiestheformandsemanticsofthatdata.ThespecificationofspecificformsofadditionalprocessingdataandtheiruseisoutsidethescopeofthisRecommendation|InternationalStandard.URIscanbeusedtoidentifyfinalvocabulariesthatcanbeusedaseitherpartorallofsomenewinitialvocabulary,buttheassignmentofspecificURIstospecificfinalvocabulariesisoutsidethescopeofthisRecommendation|InternationalStandard.ThisRecommendation|InternationalStandardspecifiesbuilt-inrestrictedalphabets,theadditiontovocabularytablesoffurtherrestrictedalphabetsbyenumeration,andtheuseofthesevocabularytablesforefficientencodingofcharacterstrings.ThisRecommendation|InternationalStandardfurtherspecifiesbuilt-inencodingalgorithmsfortheoptimumencodingofcertaincharacterstrings,andtheadditiontovocabularytablesoffurtherencodingalgorithmsidentifiedbyURIs,butthedefinitionofthesefurtherencodingalgorithmsandtheirassociatedURIsisoutsidethescopeofthisRecommendation|InternationalStandard.Inaddition,thisRecommendation|InternationalStandardspecifiesaMultipurposeInternetMailExtensions(MIME)mediatypethatidentifiesafastinfosetdocument.
