【摘要】:GeneraldescriptionsforthemanualsamplingofpetroleumproductsaregiveninPracticeD4057.However,anumberofaviationfuelpropertiesareestablishedoraffectedbytracelevelsofpolarorothercompounds.Measurementsignificancethereforerequiresthatthesamplecontainersnotaddoradsorbanymaterials.Thispracticepresentstypesandpreparationsofsamplingcontainersfoundsatisfactoryforthedeterminationofwaterseparation,coppercorrosion,electricalconductivity,thermalstability,lubricity,andtracemetalcontent.Anapprovalprocedurefornewcontainersisalsogiven.Twoproperties,particulatecontaminationandfreewatercontent,involvematerialseasilyremovedbyanysamplingcontainer.Thesepropertiesshouldbedeterminedbyplacingthesampledirectlyintothemeasuringapparatusandnotusingcontainerstotransportthesampletothemeasuringequipment.Recommendationsinthispracticeprovideguidanceforimmediateuseandforstorageofsamples.Immediateuseinvolvessamplestorageforperiodslessthan24h.1.1Thispracticecoversthetypesofandpreparationofcontainersfoundmostsuitableforthehandlingofaviationfuelsamplesforthedeterminationofcriticalpropertiesaffectedbytracecontamination.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecificwarningstatements,see5.1,5.2,5.3,5.4,and5.6.
